If the battery box on your Model B, C, or CA is like mine was, missing the side and the top, and rusted full of holes and falling apart, it's time for a change. Why replace your old box with another just like it that will be eaten away by battery acid and rust? Here's a copy of the original battery box, but it's made of stainless steel to eliminate rust worries. This box comes with the side and top, which after fifty years or more are missing from many tractors.

THESE BOXES WERE EXPENSIVE ENOUGH TO PRODUCE, SO IN ORDER TO KEEP DOWN COSTS, I'VE LEFT THE FOLLOWING TO THE USER:
1. You may wish to use a file or a small grinder to blunt some of the sharp corners.
2. You furnish the lid fasteners. Some may want cap nuts, as shown in the AC parts manual; others may prefer wing nuts. You decide. Either way, the thread is 1/4-20.
3. You paint so you can choose the color to match your tractor.
I had 48 of these boxes made. When these are gone there won't be any others. I'm not doing this as a full time business, so I'm not set up for online sales or credit cards. Waiting for the price to go down? Forget it. It may take years to get rid of these things at the break-even price, but I'd rather do that than take a loss. This price is about $15 above the cost of a rust-prone box with shipping. Why skimp for $15 and wind up with a rusty box?
